“November 19” is a series tackling censorship, thought policing, and oppression. In the artworks, the artist utilizes digital mediums to represent the emotional and psychological impact of living in an oppressive environment in an abstract manner, the looping animations aim to highlight the internal struggle and the haunting thoughts, and the conflict between who we really are and what certain societies forces us to become.

Le Chat Noir is an Egyptian Visual Artist based in France. Coming from a photography and sculpture background, Le Chat Noir started exploring digital mediums in hopes to immerse the viewer in her pieces by utilizing technology. In her works, LeChatNoir manipulates bits and pieces of her concepts within a visual composition to create dynamic, cohesive, and highly memorable pieces of digital art.
