What you can do here

How the transcripts are made

Where Zoom produced a transcript it is used, because it labels who is speaking; otherwise the audio is transcribed with Whisper, an open speech-recognition program, and where neither exists YouTube's captions are used. Timestamps are matched to the YouTube video, including for recordings edited before upload. A speaker's name is shown only when it is supported by Zoom's own label, the speaker list in the video description, or a person who has listened and confirmed it. Otherwise the passage is marked Unattributed and is not offered as a search result, because a passage without a confirmed speaker cannot be cited.

Transcripts are machine-generated and contain errors. Names, art terms and technical vocabulary are the most likely to be wrong. Verify every quotation against the recording before citing it.

How to cite

Cite the passage with its speaker, the recording, the date, the timestamp and the YouTube address of the recording, which is permanent. Every search result offers a ready-made citation with a Copy Citation button. The form is:

Speaker Name, “Techspressionist Salon 111: Talking About Co-Working,” Techspressionism Video Archive, October 1, 2026, streaming video, 00:12:34, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yg62EAcZAPc&t=754s.

The example uses Techspressionist Salon 111: Talking About Co-Working; each recording page also shows its own citation line.
