Negin Ehtesabian, Googled Earth (Iran), 2021. Digital print on fabric, print 69 x 61 inches. Edition of 5.
These are two textiles I worked for the “Googled Earth” multimedia installation created in collaboration with Patrick Lichty. As artists from Iran and USA, we explore each other’s lands through Google Earth VR and complete the images of each other’s countries in the installation. These works, printed on fabric are comprised of both hand drawing and digital drawing, with imagery based on VR experience.
