Cyberiana is a virtual town square, which gives access to customizable 3-D studio spaces, one for each participating artist.
Michael Price will give a tutorial on using Mozilla Hubs to create your studio at the Tuesday December 12, 12 noon ET co-working session. Please pre-register here.
Tommy Mintz will give tutorials on Thursday 14 December and Friday 15 December at 9AM-EST.
Please pre-register here.
The platform that Cyberiana uses is Mozilla Hubs, a browser-based open-source 3-D environment. It allows for avatars to float around and communicate, to share audio, pictures, screens, WebCams, and all sorts of interactive methodology within a virtual space.
(Not restricted by the constraints of particular companies – who shall remain nameless…!)
We have a three and a half minute instructional video and written directions which shows you how to customize a Mozilla Hubs space, using the software they provide through a web browser. It should only take two minutes to put your pictures into the frames and to change the walls. If you are intrepid, you may also change the shape and properties of your personal studio space.
Please make sure to publish the hubs and create a room; and use that link to share with us to attach to the Cyberiana Town Square.
